With doa and raza mubarak of Aqa Moula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb (TUS), Annadil Burhani (Tanga) hosted a very successful 8th Burhani East African Sports Festival. Shahzada Aliwaqar Ammar bhaisaheb Jamaluddin Saheb DM graced the opening ceremonies of the 8^th BEASF in front of all the participating centers. Shezada Ammar bhaisaheb thanked the committee members of Annadil Burhani Tanga for organising such a marvellous feat and also added that all participants do their best to achieve the highest honour. Shezada saheb also added that sports also cultivates the mind by enriching the body and soul thus strengthening the farmans of Aqa moula Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (TUS).

Teams from Dar es salaam, Arusha, Morogoro, Mombasa, Nairobi and of course Tanga participated in the three day Bonanza. Teams participated in 10 different sporting events namely, Football, cricket, volleyball, squash, tennis, table tennis, darts, snooker, scarbble and Badminton.

The overall winner was declared Mombasa during the prize giving ceremony. The next festival will take place in Nairobi.
